About Me

I received my Bachelor of Science in Physics with a minor in Astronomy at Western Washington University, where I was awarded both the Western Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship and the Dr. James and Joann Albers Scholarship. At WWU, I worked with Dr. James R. A. Davenport as an undergraduate researcher on a project that was recognized with an Outstanding Poster Award by the WWU Scholar's Week 2017 organizers. I also worked as a laboratory assistant for 3 years and as a faculty assistant for Dr. Melissa Rice for 1 year.

My research interests include age-activity-rotation studies of widely separated binary stars and modelling quasi-periodic pulsations in stellar flares using Gaussian processes. I am excited to evolve and expand these interests in the era of JWST and TESS.

I originally hail from the icy northern clime of Fairbanks, AK, but currently live in the slightly less icy Bellingham, WA.
